learn to run free,
with a thousand armies fixing down on me,
the mountain path is treacherous,
but the valley air will deliver us,
back to the bubbling sea

leave all you dont need,
walk lightly through the sound of falling trees,
the local climate favours hope,
but its the foreign vistas that i long to hold,
lets raise our sails,

in the dark middle of the sea,
the vast waves overhwhelmed me,
and if i ever wonder, where i could be,
ill remember my reflection in that wave screaming down,

like a clouded stream pondering all lifes mysteries,
through border towns and service stops,
and in bustling bars near the dry docks,
