About the song
Lake Powell is a huge body of fresh water that winds its way through breathtaking red rock canyon country. One of my all-time favorite places to be is on the Escalante arm of the lake. This song tries to portray the amazing combination of amazement and total peace that you get as you float through the towering red walls of this canyon. It never gets more stressful on the Escalante than the mood of this song.
