It's amazing how many "heroes" in scripture have written about their failures to meet God's righteous requirements. Maybe it's because we all fall short and can never attain to our own righteousness. That's why I still marvel to this day how a holy God can love a wretched sinner such as I. It is truly a mystery and those "secret rooms" that all fo us have that only God knows about can sometimes make us feel so unworthy we don't even approach the throne of God. Yet God who is a jealous God, patiently waits for us to allow Him entrance to all of our rooms so He can fully possess our hearts. What is it that makes my heart turn from you, oh God?
