About the song
This song was written during the moments of my mother's last days before she passed away (12/28/05)from a painful illness. My brightest memory was my mother accepting Jesus Christ as her saviour about a month before her death. Even though she was unable to sing, I'm sure this song could have been an expression of her joy of salvation as i was remembering how it was for me.
Lyrics
Completely
By Steve Kim and Becky Cadwallader 2006
A drop of red upon my soul.
To take away these stains,
Calling me to a sweet release.
To freedom from rotting chains.
leap of faith as angels sing
Till none of me remains.
Now I embrace life…
Chorus: For I am blessed completely, completely
For I am blessed completely, completely
You‘re the passion in my heart, in you my life will start
You bring wholeness to my soul, you are holy.
You‘re the rock upon which I stand
and your kingdom knows no end.
In you I find my shelter.
A cornerstone to build my life,
Your precepts so divine.
I melt in your glorious shine.
Now I embrace life…
Repeat Chorus twice
