About the song
After reading about the jonestown massacre I was shocked and as history keeps repeating itself this is a reminder. By the way some of the actual lyrics are from the recording of Jim jone's speech on the day over 900 people committed mass suicide
Lyrics
The age of reason turns star gazin'
index fingers point to the sky
free of faith, my true believers
let's remove the human disguise
streets cross, avenues,
where strangers leave there signatures
Jone's is gathering all the names
he knows what they want to say
victims stray into the lane
Mr. dont coil sees all your pain

like the stories we interpret
the script is written do you remember
the present neglects to see the impression
left for the future to repeat
my eyes are painting with abstract hues
the canvas is narrow like the alley's view
brush is heavy but the portraits drawn
shadows play with the suns own charm
the frame is captive the stand is placed
the art of seduction makes its case

this body of mine like a child's toy
gets left behind your thoughts transmit
switchboard on operators placing the call
you frontload me, persuade me, convince me
you break me, decieve me,you use me
you charm me you know me you hate me
you f*** me till all i want is

revolutionary suicide
(Jones always said he'd get me)

hasten with the medication
just a little bitter tasting
no one here gets out alive
quiet the children it's suicide
blood will stop souls will rise
soon we'll be in paradise
one by one we have to leave
we all got needs to satisfy
one by one we all want
we all want your
revolutionary suicide

we have fought a good war
we have saved desperate souls
we gave purpose to our lives
let's revolutionary suicide
we have blessed the unfortunate man
we have prayed for the death of class
we have done all we can to guide
let's revolutionary suicide
