About the song
This song is bugged, because there is a part in the song where there are gunshots. Real Talk: while recording the Gun shot part, one cue, people started bussing shots in front of my crib. No Lie. That was straight confirmation from God that this song was to be recorded to me. No one got shot, but as the premise of the song goes, "I could die tomorrow, pray I'm ready to go".
You never know what day will be your last, and therefore, ANY DAY can be your last. We should treat every moment as if there will not be a following one. That' why I kiss my kids and wife "EVERY" time I leave the house when possible. Because I want no regrets if I don't come home or they don't. Morbid sounding, yes - but in Christ, there should only be the blessed assurance that if I'm "Absent in the body" (aka Dead), I'll be "present with the father" (resting in the grace of the savior Jesus Christ).
