Written in a very bitter moment, I remember furiously scribbling down the first verse, chorus and half the second verse before a friend and I decided to go get lost in downtown Atlanta. It was a good thing, because at first I had more of a Mineral feel picture for the song. By the time I returned, I was more solidly angry than just bitter. Definitely an adolescent rage kinda thing.
