I thought Staceys' status re: 'The Speed of Dark' was interesting and would make a good song title so i put my thought into action...

Browsing the homepage of Facebook, I came apon an interesting status update from a friend of mine.
I thought Staceys' status re: The Speed of Dark was interesting and would make a good song title. I asked her to tell me the story behind the update and I used her exact words as the lyrics as an exercise in keepin' it real.
I layed down the music in the studio and with her printed email in hand, I stepped up to the mic and recorded this first take as a scratch vocal for Erin Hamilton to come in and sing the final version. I am sharing this as a step in the process.
