Very quite, laid back, acoustic... boring song I wrote & recorded for my one-and-only-and-I's first one-month-aniversary (dating-wise...). It was her idea... honest...

About the song
Story behind the song:
What motivated you to write this song?
Lucy Claire Maddox.
What is it about?
That's a toughy (toughie?). It's about a hopeless musician trying to be romantic. Hopelesslyish.
Any interesting side-notes?
Yes.
Anymore questions? Good. On to the description.
Recording live outside her house, ontop of her parent's now total'd car. This song marks my first, non-line-in acoustic guitar recording (I didn't just plug in the acoustic-electric into a mixer). I played around a little bit, but the song really needs more/better. She deserves better than this... Listen anyways.

Lyrics
Actually, these aren't all the lyrics... I just didn't feel like typing them, so I posted my unedited word doc. Hurray.
9:00, or shoot for noonday walks or anything.
During daylight, or at night- I don’t mind the rain.
Between Sweet Tea, and Lemonade my homemade serenade.

You somewhere above me, I could say you’re lovely
On the inside and out.
I’ll go on about it, eventually shout it.
And hope that you don’t doubt me.

I’m growing bored fast and I won’t last if you don’t care
I’m growing tired and wired and I’m not all there.

I might as well go on and tell you everything
And I’d sing softly if you were near me.
I’m not that romantic I’m franticly breaking down

You somewhere above me, I could say you’re lovely
On the inside and out.
I’ll go on about it, eventually shout it.
And hope that you don’t doubt me.

I love you, I suppose I do, I wish you would too, I love you, I’ve tried to think things through, I’d like to think that it’s true, I love you.
