The Orchestral Variations - Variation #5

Written between 12/23/04-1/1/05, this new work is darker, more introspective, and more complex re: orchestration, counterpoint (check out the 6 part fuguetta with two countersubjects in the central section, bwaa-ha-ha!), and lyricism. Any takers?

About the song
I just felt like juggling chainsaws.....again. It's just fun. Also, there are more variations coming - this 5th one is merely the dark chewy center of the ear-candy I'm still working on making. Enjoy it if you can.
