The town that wept ... Everyday there are towns like this all over the world where young lives just disappear through acts of violence

You thought you heard their voices like a wounded bird to tired after fighting for it’s life against a deadly predator
You prayed and hoped you could find when you looked for the innocence that walked without fear into a distance that soon turned into a mist of souls departing
With no way to turn around and get back home safe and sound

Destinies cut short by the deadly sweep of hours
Now all that is left are flowers lying cold and broken by the wind which moves the leaves to weep their autumn rain
To fall and cover the shame that no one understands

You can feel the cold as it settles in our hearts and we feel lost and bewildered by an event with no real meaning
We just turn and fade now that they’ve been taken away
