About the song
I wrote these lyrics while thinking of my mom after my dad passed away. This has always been a well requested song from our fans.

Grab an ‘ol cup right off my shelf
Pour another drink from the wishing well
A second hand store- I found this set
How many dreams were drank through it?
I don’t have much but the coffee’s on
Encouragement comes and I can move on
Like hope in the oven- a meal made for two
One day you’ll be here- I’ll set a cup for you
Last night’s book was good company
My candle burned out- some time around three
The clock now says a quarter past ten
When your dreams are fairy tales you tend to sleep in
And I keep a journal- all my secrets are there
I write about you- your eyes- the color of your hair
And I keep a fire burning during the day
Just to watch it’s stories played out by it’s flames
