About the song
Wrote the lyrics while sitting in Church on a scrap paper as I was thinking of how hard it is to have no money and ton's of problems. I thought I wish they have a pill to fix it all. Took the lyrics and gave them to Annie Jo who immediately developed the melody. Recorded the song and have enjoyed it ever since.

Wish these bills would all dry up
Sweep them into the garbage truck
Unplug that ‘ol ringin’ phone and
Change the address to my home
If I am sick, I can get some help
If I am lonely, I can find someone else
But if I’m hopeless, can I make I wish?
‘Cause they don’t make a pill for this,
No ‘ they don’t make a pill for this
I wish I could find a payin’ job
Need my kids back, can you hear me God?
Their pictures hang all over my place
How I want to touch their face
Lord how would it feel to be free again
To make a home and family for my kids
