About the song
Actually started as a tribute to some people I know from Indiana...."salute the people that made a winner out of this loser.....raise a toast to the Hoosiers"......
But from that point on, I tried to cram everything I knew about the state into the song, and sort of melded it with the odd hip-hop beats and pedal steel guitar loops.
And it kind of rolled like a stray snowball until it turned into its present form. Really a fun song to record.
