About the song
This is what WWWGARAGEBAND.COM HAS TO SAY ABOUT I'AM
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Um...
This could definitely be on the Lion King soundtrack. It's kinda tribal. I donno if that's a good thing or not. I wish I could clearly hear the lead singer's vocals instead of a group of people. I'm not really feelin it.

originality!
Cool intro. You guys are very original. I love the vocal effects. The words are kinda hard to understand.. and the mood is so good that I really want to understand what you are saying. Mix of music would solve all the problems. You remind me a lot of Polyphonic Spree. Considering it sounds like you recorded it at home, it is an awesome , creative song. Very good. I'm going to check the rest of your stuff.

Not sure whats this is
I'm not too sure what this is or why it was recorded, but its definetly "unique" you dont sound like anyone to me and that can be taken as a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. Everything is very muddy and hard to understand. Seems like there is no passion in the music, everything stays the same, no changing from verse to chorus that i can tell. Serious changes need to be made. Plus this sounds like Alternative music to me. I doesnt rock and there is no pop element here at all. Take this review as a good thing or bad, up to you i'm just being honest.

Trent reznor has finally lost it
Why is Trent covering "stuck in the middle" on garageband? is he singing into a bee's nest? musicians on this piece need to play in time. The mood of the song is easy to define because it stays the saaaaame forever. Lyrical phrasing, vocal delivery draaaags, you guys. Need coffee, i'm falling into a coma. drum machine must be replaced.

YEAAH!.
So cool. Nice going...Very good riff and great vocal. Doubled and makes it very 80's but still foresightened.

interesting
This is different. I cant say that it reminds me of anyone. The vocals were relaxed. Interesting

Trippy
The mood is pretty trippy. The vocals kinda freaked me out. Interesting instrumentation hidden in the background.

Stylish Vocals
mood: hauty metropolitan, I'm cool and don't give a sh*** if you know it.
Sounds like Fabulon.
Almost Beatlish guitar.
Yeah, good vocal vibe, good singing and harms, simple tune, production.

Original
I like the group-sing vocals. Lyrics are good as well. I think the mood is good, but possibly not enough to carry the song without more of a buildup. I was waiting for things to break wide open at some point. Overall, good work, though. I don't think you sound like anyone I know.

Bloody good!!
There are so many elements to this which shouldn't work but really bloody does. It's unique and original without being wanky and out of the realm of most listeners. A simple and catchy song that holds integrity because it’s unique and something different (which are about the same thing really).
In a nutshell, awesome. Should be more of it. Looking forward to finding out more about you.

weird stuff
This should be in the indie rock sextion if they have one...nothing pop about this...You sound like Jellyfish on a PCP after listening to Pet Sounds in solitary for a week...The mood is cool...I wish it were cleaner, but I'm a clean freak...I really like the lyrics...That's Heaven...cool idea. I wish the arrangement was more over the top, but I can't have it all...The blues progression never sounded so weird!

Let's see...
The song begins with a slightly muted drum beat, which develops with synthesized sounds out of the left and right ear. The vocals seem to have *a lot* of flange and chorus on them, which is a rather unusual sound, but it's not bad. Who do you sound like? Well, the vocal experimentation reminds me of Joseph Arthur on Come to where I'm from or Redemption's son (two very good albums). The mood is laid back, yet thoughtful, I suppose. I think you should reduce the flanging a bit, because it makes some of the notes appear off-key. Also, perhaps you could turn up the electric in the center of the mix -- it sounds pretty nice. There's a bit of a "men at work" vibe from the song, probably because of the chorus of voices.

hmm
interesting vocal. i don't know if i'm sold on the multi tracking on the vox. although strange is always good. it sounds strange to me?

original as it can get
I really like this because there really isn't anything on the planet sounds quite like this. It's almost like alternative gospel. It's like inverted praise music. Giving any pointers to this music, however, is sort of difficult because it is really a musical universe where most of what I think wouldn't make much sense, if that makes any sense. Well, in general, I am saying you are doing a good job simply because it's so original. And these days, originality is so amazing that this kinda gets me misty in the eyes.

difficult
what can i say - difficult, i like it and i hate it - the mood is special, but ok for this number - not really my kind of music im sorry to say.

Vocally interesting
I like the tracking of the vocals, gives song a unique tone. Wish the percussion was more engaging to match. I would love this song if the pace was picked up a little and the beat was stronger.

wow you got a multi for x-mas, or something. really not much reason to put this on here in this format. maybe use it as a work tape, but its definately not ready for anyone else.

Lyrics
I am
I'm on my way
I'm on my way
to where I wanted to be
It's easy
I'ts here for you
now come and get it
in my street people meet
and in my garden there's peace
that's heaven
I'm on my mountain
but I'm not yet on top
I'm gonna climb it up
and no one can stop me
o my love
is here for you
now come and get it
in my street people meet
and in my garden there's peace
that's heaven
(2x)
and in the valley
there's a river not too deep
where we can swim
I'm on my way
I'm on my way
to where I wanted to be
It's easy
I'ts here for you
now come and get it
in my street people meet
and in my garden there's peace
that's heaven
I'm on my mountain
but I'm not yet on top
I'm gonna climb it up
and no one can stop me
o my love
is here for you
now come and get it
in my street people meet
and in my garden there's peace
that's heaven
(2x)
and in the valley
there's a river not too deep
where we can swim
