I was feeling down, I had just met my husband at the time. He wanted to be with me, but do other things. And I wanted to be there for him. I babied him and it just seemed like he would intentionally hurt me. But it seemed all I ever did in the beginning was sit in waiting for him to come home to me. So I couldn't keep it in anymore and wrote a song about us.
