There are actually two versions of this song...the version on the site and my cd is for the general public and the second version's last two lines are changed which were written for the day I asked my girlfriend to marry me. As sappy as this is, this is the song I played for my then girlfriend on a small pier overlooking a small pond under a full moon and a light fog rolling over the water with a chill in the air and a couple of candles for good measure. Yes this is true...and funny for I had played this song many times for her so when I actually played the new version and was a nervous wreck she wasn't paying attention at all to the lyrics and for the most part missed the initial proposal...all ended good...
