About the song
Vonee Rose sent me these wonderful lyrics. I thought it was a song about what all we go thru here at Soundclick. Trying to get folks to listen to our music, hoping someday to get someone to cut one of our tunes. I had alot of fun with this one. I hope I didn't get too carried away with guitar solos. This felt like an emotional song for me. So I tried to carry it out that way on my guitar. I would like to thank David Raughton for putting some wonderful drum tracks on this song. Also thanks Vonee for letting me put my 2 cents worth on this song.
Lyrics
Theres 99,000 and one song writers in Nashville
Trying to write that next hit song
You can see them everywhere you go.....
Walkin up an down the street of music row.

They take thier catalogs and guitars
play thier songs in the local bars
Where the publishers say we'll let you know
Life's no bed of roses..... down on music row

Chorus:
there's 99,000 and one songwriters in Nashville
The odds are against you my friend
Life's no bed of roses ...down on music row
But you can't give up ...Someday you might just
win

Only a few will ever get that call
Some of the best songs ever written
Will never be heard at all
Down on music row

Chorus:
there's 99,000 and one songwriters in Nashville
The odds are against you my friend
Life's no bed of roses ...down on music row
But you can't give up ...Someday you might just
win
