Lyrics

WINDING ROAD

It's a long road winding -
a Long Road to Home.
Lately I'm finding,
I'm not alone.

I think of the Mountain,
we've yet to climb.
I think of the valley,
we're leaving behind.

Chorus
Long Road Companions,
I meet on the way -
when night's a deep canyon,
they turn it to day.
The Eagle is winging.
The Coyote runs.
We come singing,
on our way back Home.

It's a long road that wanders -
a Road that's well trod.
In the storm we hear thunder,
like the Calling of God.

Sometimes in the night,
with stars looking on.
We see a gentle light,
and hear a sweet Angel song.

Chorus
Long Road Companions,
I meet on the way -
when night's a deep canyon,
they turn it to day.
The Eagle is winging.
The Coyote runs.
We come singing,
on our way back Home.
