About the song
This is the first song that I ever wrote. It is the only one that I wrote prior to God healing me of my demons and addictions. I was in a raging drug induced arguement with my boyfriend and rather than hit him, I picked up a pen and wrote this down. My pen never left the paper until it was done.
Manmade drugs are the tool of the Devil sent to destroy the love. I thank God for His healing. Now I am free to love.
Lyrics
Breath held in
and eyes bulged out
I implode
as you scream and shout
You called them lies
none were told
The rage burns on
it shreds my soul

*I die a death*
I die a death
I die a death
each day
I die a death
I die a death
Hell will have
it's way

The pain I feel
won't be contained
A lover's lies
are a battle's wage
Truth is lost
in a cloud of meth
The rage burns on
a lover's death

*REPEAT CHORUS*

Sorrow drowns
I melt away
Untold truths
I always pay
It never was
what it could be
You loved a lie
it wasn't me

*REPEAT CHORUS*
