About the song
Dad was losing his battle with cancer, and everyday he make some kind of comment about how heaven would be...and would often share his remorse with me, that I was to be left behind, that he was gonna start the greatest adventure of his life when he took his last breath.....

My dad LOVED country, and this is HIS melody, his song..... GOSH... I miss that man so VERY VERY much.... and YES, I CAN IMAGINE that Beautiful City..... GLORY TO GOD!!!!!
Lyrics
Beautiful City

Luster Barret, Yvonne Bach and Kevin Tarter

Performed by the Gospel Group: SET FREE out of Caneyville, Kentucky (Goodness I miss that place TOO and everyone there)

Verse One:

I can't wait to get there, such sights I'll behold.
Great walls of jasper, streets of pure gold
and tho the city's beauty breathtaking,
I must take my place
Waiting with loved ones, for a glimpse of His Face.

Chorus:

A beautiful City, A wonderful place
Where no tears or sorrow, will stream down my face
Where everyone's happy, in His Love and Saving Grace
That beautiful City, what a wonderful Place.

Hallelujah, feel that amen....
hallelujah, can you imagine.

Verse Two

Mom and Dad will be waiting, both their arms open wide
their eyes wont' be crying, for there's no pain to hide
We'll sing Hallelujah, and praise His mercy and saving grace
Together forever, in that beautiful place.

Repeat Chorus
