About the song
My friend Vince jammed on this riff once or twice, and I, over the course of six years, took the ball and ran with it. My eccentric friend Tim provided the lyrical inspiration.
Lyrics
it slices. it dices. it drinks. it thinks. it smells a bit, but rarely stinks. the ankles dance underwater, clean. you'd have to know Tony to know what i mean. Tony Cajone rides again! "i got a typewriter, cocaine, and chilled wine. let's write a poem, we can each type a line." asleep on the street, he found an old friend to take him from the past to the bitter end. Now Tim-bo-tayo rides again! the airwaves were filled with compassion and light. now he's Canada-bound, where the beer ain't so cheap. a journeyman cook with rewards to reap. he packs his pictures in his memory tin, to transfer his heat at the Sooke Harbour Inn.
