About the song
We played at a festival at the World Bank in Washington, DC last year called "Imagine Peace".. we decided to write a "group" song for the occasion..

Davey wrote the first two verses, Lynette wrote the melody and chorus, Meagan added the bridge and Dew the finishing touches..

The song went over whenever we played it.. We were going to do a studio version when Lynette left us..

we're going to put this on a memorial CD for Lynette.. till then I wanted this available to listen to with this version till we go into the studio..

Played by Callian's Dream at The Imagine Peace Festival in Washington, DC March, 2000..

Lyrics
IF PEACE HAD A COLOR (FROM THE IMAGINE PEACE FESTIVAL)

If peace had a color what would it be?
As white as the sands or as blue as the sea?
Green like grass or black like outer space?
Would it be a rainbow of every creed and race?

What would it look like if peace could be seen?
It would be the greatest colors ever dreamed
How would it feel to a world full of pain?
Peace would be soft as the cool spring rain
before the rainbow

If peace had a taste to what would it compare?
Would it be a feast the whole world could share?
If peace were sweet could it fill the need?
Of all the hungry earth to feed?

What would it look like if peace could be seen?
It would be the greatest colors ever dreamed
How would it feel to a world full of pain?
Peace would be soft as the cool spring rain
before the rainbow

If peace were an ocean I a swimmer in the sea
Would it’s sweet warm water flow over, comfort and caress me?
I would feel the strength, happiness and joy
to be passed on to every man, woman, girl and boy
before the rainbow
