I wrote this song when I was in college, back in the early 1980s. A church folk group I was in at the time (up in Potsdam, NY) performed it once in mass, then my brother, Ron, sang it at my wife's and my wedding in 1983 (in the LA area), then the song pretty much sat on the shelf until recently. I broke it out to play in some of my live shows after the latest Iraq war started, and have been playing it fairly regularly every since. This recording, was originally tracked in Summer 2004, then remixed in Spring 2006. It is now available as a digital download via iTunes.com, Rhapsody.com, and other on-line stores.
