Just Didn't Know
Sort of a 90's Alternative Rock meets some Classic Rock. Plus there's a pretty groovy solo towards the end (at least I think so). I'm not the best guitar player in the world so go easy. ;)

About the song
My dismay with how lightly people have been taking the issue of global warming (myself included)...
Lyrics
Wasn’t it just a moment ago that we thought we had it all?
I could swear it seems just like yesterday.
We were all centered round the table,
Exchanging thoughts, and, whatever we cared to share with one another.
As it fades away, much to my disbelief,
We can’t say that we didn’t see it coming…
Throw it up in the air,
Without a thought without a care,
Somebody will fix it somewhere…
Breathe in that poison,
Let it fill your lungs,
‘Cause we can’t live without it,
Even knowing it will do us in.
Take a look around,
What meaning is there in all of this?
The plastic shapes, same as they are everywhere,
Are spreading apathy and materialism as fast as can travel.
I could swear it seems just like yesterday.
We were all centered round the table,
Exchanging thoughts, and, whatever we cared to share with one another.
As it fades away, much to my disbelief,
We can’t say that we didn’t see it coming…
Throw it up in the air,
Without a thought without a care,
Somebody will fix it somewhere…
Breathe in that poison,
Let it fill your lungs,
‘Cause we can’t live without it,
Even knowing it will do us in.
Take a look around,
What meaning is there in all of this?
The plastic shapes, same as they are everywhere,
Are spreading apathy and materialism as fast as can travel.
