About the song
This is actually two songs, "New Way Home" and "Champion Log". New Way Home was inspired by us playing with many, many pop punk bands that all sound exactly alike, and by John Cusack. I don't know what the lyrics for Champion Log were inspired by, but the title was inspired by a campfire log that we successfully burned 3 times and it just would not go away, hence Champion Log! Oh yeah, for future reference, our song titles are completely irrelevant from the lyrics.
