About the song
After battling half a lifetime of an addiction to drugs and alcohol after having many number one hit songs, Ed decided to write a musical to share the glories of the 12 step program he learned about when he finally sought help from Los Angeles' Harbor Lights Shelter. To show his appreciation for a New Life, he founded EBT New Life to educate and train others needing a helping hand. Due to my experiences with domestic violence, he gave me a lead in the show. Plans are underway to make the music more readily available, until then, please take a listen!
Lyrics
I had love once
Beautiful love once
A love that was true
But what did I do?
In my addiction I abused it...
Beautiful love once
A love that was true
But what did I do?
In my addiction I abused it...
