About the song
April Ragland, is the creatior of this great lyric and when I got it from her, I printed the lyric from the computer on a saturday noon, got my classical guitar and sat down with it in the kitchen room, I was in the mood this time and the music came in no time. I took the song to my studio for recordings just to insure I wouldn't forget the melody and finished it on sunday. When I started singing it, I could hear kinda Bob Dylan feeling to it, so I sang it with a raw voice which I feel that fits it very well. The lyric was original written for a female to sing..but we did a small changes to the lyric to fit a male singer. Hope you like it!
Lyrics
I'm hiding behind the Sunday morning paper
You're standing over the stove once again
I'm feeling the itch to break free from this boring weekend routine
It's time to forget what last week had to bring

Honey get the keys we're taking off
With nothing in our mind but to get lost
Monday morning will soon be here
It's our turn to feel young again
So let's throw caution into the wind

Guitarsolo

We'll discover what this country is all about
With the top down and radio up
The sun will sink in that blue sky but this party will last all night
We need a release from our everyday lives

Honey get the keys we're taking off
With nothing in our mind but to get lost
Monday morning will soon be here
It's our turn to feel young again
So let's throw caution into the wind

So let's throw caution into the wind
So let's throw caution into the wind
