About the song
My four year old son asked me why people are mean, and it was such an innocent question that I felt hurt and saddened that I couldn't give him any kind of logical answer. There is no logic to humans being cruel to each other. He cannot understand it and I can't pretend to either. Humans will be inhumane more often than not. My hope is that things will change for our childrens' sake and their childrens' sake.
