About the song
I spent a year away from my family on a 2 by 4 mile island, Shemya, Alaska. While there I had a dream one night of walking across the Bering Sea to get back home to them but sinking into the ocean once I tried. Over the next several weeks I wrote these combined pieces on a Fender Rhodes, though one wouldn't be able to tell once I was finally able to record it.
