About the song
'Here is my best shot, it is called Empty Line (a tribute to veterans that lost their life fighting for our country)! I am a Viet Nam Vet. I was sent to Viet Nam for 358 days. I was in a war zone. But I always had a guitar with me. It was nice of them to let me keep it:) I played at two Viet Nam Veterans War memorial - festivals. The second one Country Joe (of Country Joe and The Fish) heard me and invited me to the second one in San Francisco Calif. He loved hearing Hero's Dust which is the solo version of this orchestrated instrumental.'
