About the song
Ang-
(side-notes)Mochan? Anyhow I think Mochan did a good job with this song. I think the feel of the song and the words he began go together very nicely. I really like the introspective feel I get from it, how you have to think about where the words are going. We continued and I added the vocal melody and some keyboard. It turned out nice. Oh yeh, he added the strings too,yes nice.

Mochan-
I was doing some analysis problems and I wrote the word "Proof" to get started on the problem. I couldn't think of a single step to do the proof and after staring at the problem for hours I somehow ended up writing a little poem titled Proof. A while later I came up with a guitar riff and thought the poem might go over it. So, I just gave it to Ang and she came up with the really beautiful melody for the words and the haunting keyboard riff.
I guess this song is about a mathematician's dream of proving the theorem about an idea that she/he truly believes will work that will change everything in that domain. However, it can be interpreted for anything that one truly believes in: it's true and the proof exists even though I can't show it right now.
Lyrics
Nothing will ever be the same again
I think we've changed it all
Everything will always be the same
Nothing ever really does change
I think I've lost my direction again
It's hard to tell in this emptiness
I swear I've found something
It's the only way it'll make sense
I know I can't prove it to you now
But, can't you feel that it's true?
