A place of darkness within a place of darkness. Is this a place of rest or a place of terror. For one weary traveller, it is a bit of both. Remember the monsters under your bed? How do you sleep at night?

This is the result of my first eperimentations with digital editing / and looping tools, where any ideas presented were done as samples (not sheet music) and the piece was then 'painted' like an abstract image. My friend Steven Davies-Morris of Systems Theory heard it and named the piece "The Dark Within The Dark". The image which represents this is from Willam Blake's epic illuminated book Jerusalem. It is the frontspiece titled: "Los Enter A Gothic Arch".
