About the song
My best friend got into a BIG MESS, and my life at the time was really being a bi*** and this song came to me one night, I wrote it quickly....ended up my friend hung the words to this song in her cell, and read the lyrics each day for inspiration. To this day it still has been known to give inspiration.
Lyrics
Rocky Road

Sometimes don't you sit and wonder when....
When will all this nonsense end, the world's spinning around, outta control
Who's at the wheel....nobody really knows.

Sometimes life is hard to understand...
Things don't always go the way you plan...
I'm finding out the hard way, what it is to be strong
The road I travel on is a rocky one...

Rocky road comin' up ahead...just to the right
Don't run and hide because only the strong survive...
This old world can knock you down, you got to fight
Somethings in life, are much better learned
Walkin' down a rocky road....walkin' down a rocky road

Like a blind man wants to see the light....
All god's children search for peace of mind
People why can't you see, there's no easy out
The rocky road is what life's all about

Rocky road comin' up ahead...just to the right
Don't run and hide because only the strong survive...
This old world can knock you down, you got to fight
Somethings in life, are much better learned
Walkin' down a rocky road...walkin' down a rocky road
Walkin' down a rocky road...yeah, walkin' down a rocky road
Well I'm walkin' down a rocky road...and I'm carryin' a heavy load
Well I'm walkin' down that rocky road, walkin' down a rocky road
