Daydreams
play lo-fiplay lo-fi     play hi-fiplay hi-fi
Another blast from the archival past, this tune was recorded sometime between 92-93 in Myrtle Beach,S.C at Cherry Grove Studios. It features the quirky and highly hyper Paul Weaver on guitars and vocals and myself on bass and drum programming.

About the song
Lyrics:Weaver.Music:Weaver/Leon.
Paul used various Ibanez guitars and I used a wonderful Jazz Bass Special unlike any other I have ever played. The sound was thunderous!!! We only recorded together a handful of times but it always proved to be a highly creative and exciting environment. "Daydreams" was the first time we worked together. Recorded and mixed by Tim "Yo Mama" Bode.
Lyrics
Note:
Lyrics by Paul Weaver and not Juan R Leon as noted.

She says she wants to go to England,Oh no
She knows that I'll make her stay but she won't play,no way
I can feel the wind all around
With your sunshine smile coming down on me
And I can be anyone I wanna be

Sometimes when I'm all alone I Daydream and look at the sky
Voices going there and making Dreams as the cars go by

Now when I look in your eyes you make me high
But you just go on by,on by
The seasons came and when they left me here on this side road
Talking to an imaginary toad
And I can see the real me and it isn't the real me

Sometimes when I'm all alone I Daydream and look at the sky
Voices going there and making Dreams as the cars go by

Sometimes I feel I'm going crazy
Or maybe I'm just too lazy
I don't know but there's a bird singing on that telephone pole

I went home last week and I saw her
But she didn't speak but that's o.k
Cause my garden of grass will make it seem o.k.
And today was just another day
And that's,that's the way it is

Mmmm
Mmmm....
