Another song inspired by the writtings of C.S. Lewis. This is a very ambient 8 string bass composition played with an E-Bow (very reminiscent of Robert Fripp,Michael Manring,and Trey Gunn).The E-Bow is a small electronic device which is held in the plucking hand directly over the strings.Producing an eltro-magnetic field, the E-Bow will cause the strings to sustain indefinitely.I used various settings of delay,some distortion,and some reverb.I then split the signal from my 8 string bass into 2 tracks and recorded direct into my Protools rig.From the forthcoming "2464".
