About the song
here's a little something I was working on for a contest, until I got bogged down and missed the deadline. So I figured, why waste something that I found enjoyable?
A funky little exercise, with a bit of atmosphere - and some clean and vintage guitar sounds. As you can tell, the middle part shows I've been listening to _Bridge Of Sighs_ a little too much lately :) Mix isn't too good - the drums are a bit distorted - but I hope you see what I was going after.
As usual, comments appreciated.....
electric guitars - Fender Highway 1 Strat HSS through RP-250, IK Multimedia Amplitube Jimi Hendrix, NI Guitar Rig
synth - Peavey Falcon/Roland GM-70 through IK Sonic Synth 2
bass - Peavey Millennium BXP through Johnson J-Station
drums - Frank Basile (Smartloops MIDI files), assembled with ToonTrack EZPlayer and triggered with NI Battery (the Vintage kit)
