About the song
Muzzy wrote the lyrics right before he got to meet Ken Hensley for the first time in London. He asked me to write the music for it. We presented it to Ken and he was moved by the tribute.
Lyrics
He came from a land of Kings and Queens.
From an Isle on the other side.
His words were kind and his words were wise,
and I know he just couldn't hide the love of music in his heart.
I was a prisoner from the start.

From then I followed him through time.
Though he didn't know my presence there.
From seven stars, from sun to moon,
I couldn't help my wonderous stare when I heard the music in his heart.
I was a prisoner from the start.

Take me to the Rainbow's end.
Where the colors have turned to stone.
To where this Wizard calls his home.
Where the love of God is known.
Take me to meet this magic man
where in my heart he is my friend.
Just once can I see this pot of gold?
Please take me to the Rainbow's end.

Dreams, they can hold you prisoner.
Life can change with the choice you make.
Unseen visions are fantasies.
From a timeless sleep I awake to find the music still in his heart.
I was a prisoner from the very start.
