About the song
Inspired by a traditional chant for leaping the traditional fires of Spring. Updated and totally redone as a new song, New lyrics- new music, with a hint of the old traditional chant-to serve the magic of Spring in these modern times.
The age old custom of leaping the fire is very much like a prayer. As you leap the fire with all your might, you call out your wish for your life and for the life of all things. Most of us have heard the Nursery rhyme...Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack jump over the Candlestick. Jack was jumping the fires of Spring!
May all of our wishes for the nurturing of our lives and all life on this planet, be fulfilled
