Snake woman, while quite apropos to the season of Beltane, is poignantly soulful in the here and now. With the recent disaster of Hurricane Katrina we find some solace in our grief as we realize that nothing dies and nothing is destroyed, only renewed in another form and another skin.

Snake woman grew in our minds from the original chant created by Starhawk. We were kindly given permission by her to use the Chant as an inspiration piece. From that we have created Snake Woman/Spiral of Life. May this chant spiral into your lives as well and help you to begin again..
