About the song
Lesl et al.
The Leagrave March I don't have much history on, but the father of button accordionist John Whelan was a founding member of the Leagrave branch of Comhaltas in England. Crossing the Alps, the way I have played it, is an early (1700's) version of the march more commonly called Bony Crossing the Alps.
