About the song
The piece is built enitrely on a single guitar riff sample which was entitled "RIFF 4", therefore its title. Using repetition, modifying the sample so it would play backwards, and layering the tracks out of phase with each other I was able to build conflicting rhythms and harmonies. (Granted, quite by accident.)
