original recordings: 1986 improvised trio with Dan on electric piano and analog lead synth, RD on CZ-101 synth with Echoplex tape looping/delay/feedback effects and Steve Ferrell on bass.
1987 unfinished rhythm track with Dan on acoustic and electric percussion and drum machine programming, RD on sampler.
These 2 unrelated recordings were combined by RD in 1996 in the piece called "Amateur Alchemy". This 2006 version is a condensed, layered and treated remix of that remix.
