A long-distance collaboration with my friend Donny from Scotland. Donnie's original instrumental melody still reminds me of our visit to Scotland.

Donny lives in Scotland, I live in the U.S.A. We thought it would be fun to do an original song together from different countries. Donny layed down the guitar and drum tracks, and had his dad add some sweet old-world fills on his button box. Then he sent the tracks to me. I added bass and the extra guitar part on the final section, and mixed it all down. "Speyside Memories" is because Donny lives on the river Spey, and we visited there last year. It is a beautiful area in the highlands of Scotland.
