Eventually was born from the agony I felt when I broke up with my first real girl friend. I showed it to Mark and Donna, who shaped it into what it is today. Mark wrote it's gorgeous melody and chords. Eventually won grand prize in the 2000 Austin Songwriters Group Bare Bones Contest.
