Hole in the Sky
A second collaboration with Glen Gustavson-Falck, Christina Morgan and yours truly. This is a song about the possibilities for your world if the hole in the sky gets larger and ruins things more than it has.

About the song
Recorded Sept 4, 2009 at the Tweaklab using Logic Pro 9. Christina found the melody quickly and we laid down her track in just a few takes. She has great talent at being able to find melodies. The explosive sounds came out of Omnisphere. The violin solo was straight out of Logic's loop library.
Lyrics
by Glen Gustavson-Falck
A hundred and five
In the shade
Eight forty-five
I'm already late
Too many cars
Limited space
Whoever started
This idiot race
There's a hole in the sky
But there's no open mind
When the hope is full of holes
Who copes with hopeless denial
But I've got a smile
It's in my car
Here's a free trial
From the medicine jar
Mercury rising
Up to the stars
Gasoline prices
It's who we are
There's a hole in my head
But there's no room for rent
There's no room for much improvement
Beyond best wishes spent
It's a mirage
The future hanging in the highway vapor
The air is turning blue and still we caper
The planet Earth is just a homeless shelter
A crowded island when the poles have melted
It's a mirage
Cheer up
Chirp
Chirp
It could never be that bad
A hundred and five
In the shade
Eight forty-five
I'm already late
Too many cars
Limited space
Whoever started
This idiot race
There's a hole in the sky
But there's no open mind
When the hope is full of holes
Who copes with hopeless denial
But I've got a smile
It's in my car
Here's a free trial
From the medicine jar
Mercury rising
Up to the stars
Gasoline prices
It's who we are
There's a hole in my head
But there's no room for rent
There's no room for much improvement
Beyond best wishes spent
It's a mirage
The future hanging in the highway vapor
The air is turning blue and still we caper
The planet Earth is just a homeless shelter
A crowded island when the poles have melted
It's a mirage
Cheer up
Chirp
Chirp
It could never be that bad
