Lyrics
told the guys I'll be there in awhile, but this cops got me pulled over to the side. I only had to go just one short mile, but he says that he's takin me for a ride. He grabbed my arm and cuffed me to the door, he says he'll be right back and that's for sure. I'm thinking I'll regret those last ten beers, cause there's more cops than I've ever seen in 15 years
one night of action on the wrong side of the law. gets those bright lights flashing and your sure to take a fall
they'll gather round you the most you ever saw. when your out on the town and your running from the wrongside of the law
they gathered round me and I got a little scared, with my free arm I covered up my face. The night-sticks started falling and I fell down to my knees. The hardest road that I've ever known could be my saving grace. All at once those blows stopped falling, I could here the silence calling. The cops formed around me like a wagon train. I could hear my friends start gaining hear the silence raining, when the fighting stopped the cops just ran away
