About the song
Sound quality varies, as this recording was "patched together" from a couple of different sources. Later the idea of this piece, based upon De Rerum Natura by the Roman poet Titus Lucretius Carus would be used in a later work for solo baroque flute called _The Nature of the Universe II_ also on this page. Score and parts available through Seesaw Music, c/o Subito Music Corp., 60 Depot St., Verona, NJ 07044, 973-857-3440.
