I heard some of Mike Corfield's music back in 2001 via the rec.music.makers.songwriting newsgroup and immediately loved his beautiful melody named, rather forlornly, "18_3_01".

As always, with a such a haunting melody the lyrics just flowed and the result was "Loving Tree".
