About the song
Had written the lyrics of this song back in 1998 inspired by a song of the same title by George Harrison. Mine is nothing like his I just liked the title. At that time it was almost impossible for me to write a melody as I was not doing music much and I was very involved in the family life so very little time for music anyway.
Song was left unfinished and then in about 2002 I was fooling around on the piano as I desperately wanted to write a piano song so I came up with a melody i liked and luckily these lyrics seem to be made for it with a few changes.

Deep Blue

Words and Music By Tony DeLecce
Lyrics written 1/1998 Music: 2/2002

Many words have been spoken
Many hearts have been broken
Noone has seen the
Troubles I have known
The good times and the bad
the happy and the sad
Seems to count for nothing
Seems to fade to blue
Seems like I’m caught in it
As I fade to Blue

Deep Blue color, Deep Blue tune
Deep Blue morning, Deep Blue mood

Caught in the middle
I’m Caught in a trap
Nothing left to say,
No looking back
The good times and the bad
The happy and the sad
Seems to count for something
Seems to fade to blue
Seems like we're all in it
As we fade to Blue

Deep Blue color, Deep Blue Tune
Deep Blue morning, Deep Blue mood

Color me carefully, Color me true
Color my morning, Color me Deep Blue
